What is Animal Science?
Animals provide food, clothing, recreation, and companionship for humans. Animal science is the study of the biological function, production, and use of domestic animals. Animal scientists apply the latest technology in genetics, physiology, and nutrition to better understand how to use and care for animals. Animal scientists may work in all phases of livestock production, education, business, marketing, food, and biotechnology industries.
